Comfy seats are either recliners or rockers, and some feature heated seats. AMC offers in-house brands of candy and popcorn, along with a tasty concession menu offering hot dogs, chicken fingers, nachos, fries, and more. Dine-In locations offer a limited restaurant-style menu boasting items like artisan pizzas, mac-n-cheese bites, and healthy bowls and salads. Best of all, you won’t have to miss a moment of your movie, as food and drink can be delivered right to your seat.
MacGuffins Bar offers a full bar with cocktails, beer, and wine right in the theater lobby. So, alcohol is allowed in the theater, but the bar drinks are expectedly expensive, so use your creativity to save some bucks on this one.
Unlike other popular theater chains, AMC Stubs offers three membership tiers with varying pricing and rewards.
The top tier, A-List membership gets you into three movies every week, all included in the low monthly subscription cost (under $30), which you can cancel at any time. The subscription only works for one person, but you could buy one for yourself and enjoy discounted matinees or the above-mentioned discounted rates for other qualifying companions. Or, if going to the movies is your go-to entertainment for the whole family, get a subscription for each person and save a ton of cash.
AMC Theaters are our personal favorite, and we’ve had the A-List membership since 2021. The seats are comfy, which makes the theater feel spacious and never crowded even if it’s full. The wide range of options for food and drink, concession upgrades, discount pricing, and premier screen options, from Dolby to 3D to IMAX screens, make AMC by far the best.
Even though we never see three movies in a week, or even in a month, the A-List subscription cost pays off if we only see two movies a month. And, if we had more time, we’d go see more movies and save even more. Think about it, the monthly subscription price costs less than two full-price adult movie tickets. So, if you’re a big-screen movie buff, this one’s definitely for you.
